How To Install The ChatBot on Your Wix Website

Getting Started

Enhance your website's interactivity and customer engagement by installing the Botgenuity ChatBot on your Wix website. Follow these simple steps to integrate a cutting-edge AI chatbot seamlessly.

Step 1: Log Into Your Wix Account

  1. Navigate to the Wix Homepage.
  2. Click on the Log In button at the top right corner.
  3. Enter your login credentials to access your account.

Step 2: Access Your Site Dashboard

  1. Once logged in, you'll be presented with your Wix site(s). Locate the site you wish to add the chatbot to.
  2. Click on Site Actions (or a similar option) next to your chosen site.
  3. Select Edit Site from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Navigate to the Custom Code Section

  1. In the site editor, click on Settings from the left sidebar.
  2. Scroll down and click on Tracking & Analytics.

Step 4: Add Your ChatBot

  1. Press the + New Tool button and select Custom.
  2. In the tool setup, name it appropriately, such as "Botgenuity Chatbot".

Step 5: Insert Your Custom JavaScript Code

  1. Copy the AI ChatBot embed code provided by Botgenuity. It should resemble the following example (note: use the actual code provided to you):

  1. Paste this code into the Paste the code snippet here: box.
  2. For Add Code to Pages, opt for All pages and set to Load code once.

  1. Click Apply to save your configuration.
  2. Return to the main editor screen and hit the Publish button to update your site with the new chatbot feature.

Step 7: Verify Your Installation

  1. Open your website in a new browser tab to see the Botgenuity chatbot in action.
  2. Additionally, you can verify the code's presence by right-clicking on your website, selecting View Page Source, and searching for the Botgenuity embed code.
